Favorite JET song is the only one I can't play, "Shine On". Why can't I play it? I lost both my parents when I was in my mid-twenties, so I can relate just a bit too well to Nic's lyrics. It makes me cry. But that's also why it's my favorite; it moves me as much as it seems it moved him to write.
Don't have a favorite band member; they're all so groovy it's hard to choose. But if I were forced to, I'd have to say give Cam his Les Paul. The combination of the two is stellar. *grin*
Other bands? Well, I'm a Crash Kings junkie; have a Crash Kings tattoo as well! Have driven many miles following them across the middle of the USA; they are great live, and did a great show with JET. Check them out!
I also love Weezer. Since 1994, I have been enamoured of this band. And they're coming to Kansas City in June! Very exciting.
Beck, Nine Inch Nails, Voltaire, Rob Zombie, Cake, Foo Fisghters, Them Crooked Vultures...lots of different stuff. Mozart when I need to de-stress.

Crash Kings opened for JET here in the US, and they're a really great band. Still touring hard and playing lots of festivals this summer. They have also just announced they'll be appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live on May 10th. Show them some love! Find them at crashkingsmusic.com or www.myspace.com/crashkings . Haven't heard them?
